Russia – EU Trade in January-October 2020

  • During January-October 2020, the trade turnover between Russia and the countries of the European Union decreased by 26.4% year-on-year down to 143.8 bn euro.

    According to Eurostat, import from EU countries into Russia was down 10.8% during the 10 months 2020 making 65.4 bn euro. Export from Russia to the European Union declined by 35.8% down to 78.4 bn euro.

    Russia rates the fifth among the largest importers from the EU after the USA, the United Kingdom, China and Switzerland.

    Among the largest exporters to the EU countries, Russia also ranks the fifth after China, the USA, the UK and Switzerland.
