TransContainer has signed a contract with United Wagon Company (UWC) for delivery of 150 80-foot fitting platforms. According to UWC, the platforms are to be delivered to the customer by the end of 2020.
The 13-6903 modification platforms are designed for transporting of dry and tank container with a gross weight up to 36 tons, the overall loading capacity of a platform is 74.5 tons.
When the new order is delivered the fleet of 40- and 80-foot fitting platforms operated by TransContainer will make 310 units.
