Ruscon, part of Delo Group, is launching a pilot project to deliver domestic consolidated cargo by rail in Russia. According to the company, both warehouse to warehouse service format and last mile delivery are available.
The service is being tested on the Moscow – Novosibirsk route with transit time of 4-5 working days. The company deploys a franchising scheme partnering with local operators for last mile delivery, service sales, and cargo release. The first partner in Novosibirsk is Modern Trans.
In future, it is planned to expand the service geographically offering new destinations.
