According to the RF Federal Customs Service, Russia’s crude oil export in January-July 2020 was down 4.2% year-on-year to 143.2 mn tons. In terms of value, crude oil export decreased by 36.6% year-on-year making $43.9 bn.
Oil products export increased by 4.2% up to 85.2 mn tons. In terms of value it was down 28.7% to $28 bn.
Diesel fuel export made 31.9 mn tons in terms of tonnage (+5.9% year-on-year) and $12.4 bn in terms of value (-28.7%).
Petrol export in January-July 2020 increased by 40.6% year-on-year up to some 4 mn tons worth $1.6 bn, down 0.2%.
In July, Russia exported 17.5 mn tons of crude, down 24.4% year-on-year and down 13.7% month-on-month. In terms of value, crude oil export dropped by 53.7% year-on-year and by 7.1% month-on-month to make $4.8 bn.
Oil products export in July increased by 0.9% year-on-year and declined by 27.1% month-on-month to make 10.5 mn tons worth over $2.7 bn (down 46.2% year-on-year and down 13.5% month-on-month).
Diesel fuel export made 4.2 mn tons (up 12.9% year-on-year and down 8.7% month-on-month) worth $1.2 bn (down 43.4% year-on-year and up 0.2% month-on-month).
Car petrol export in July increased by 1.8% year-on-year and dropped by 57.9% month-on-month making 291 thousand tons worth $86.4 mn, down 47.9% year-on-year and down 56.9% month-on-month.
Natural gas export in January-July 2020 amounted to 104.6 bn cbm, down 17.5% year-on-year. In terms of value, it also declined, by 51.4% down to $12.5 bn.
Liquefied natural gas export during January-July 2020 increased by 23.4% year-on-year up to 42.2 mn cbm, its value was down 0.7% to $4.9 bn.
In July, natural gas export made 12.4 bn cbm, down 22.5% year-on-year and down 10.1% month-on-month. Value-wise, it was worth $1.1 bn, down 58.9% year-on-year and down 5.4% month-on-month.
LNG export in July amounted to 9.3 mn cbm surging 93.8% year-on-year and 75.5% month-on-month. In terms of value, LNG export was up 2.1-fold year-on-year and up 79.4% month-on-month making over $1 bn.
