Novolietsk Metalworks has built and put into operation a new logistics facility on the territory of the plant. The first shipment for the company’s customers has already been made from the terminal, the press office of Novolietsk Metalworks reports.
The new logistics facility will allow of shipping more than 1 mn tons of rolled steel products by road. The complex occupies a territory of 30,000 sq. meters and can accommodate up to 70,000 tons of steel products at a time.
The roofed warehousing facility operates year-round and guarantees a high quality and safety of products.
The investment into developing the logistics complex amounted to some 3 bn rubles ($42.3 mn).
