According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-April 2020 Russia exported 690.7 thousand tons of unwrought aluminum, down 44% year-on-year. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export dropped by 47.5% year-on-year down to $1.15 bn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export declined by 23.3% year-on-year making 206.6 thousand tons worth $1.14 bn, down 31.3 % year-on-year.
Unwrought nickel export in January-April 2020 decreased by 40.1% year-on-year amounting to 29.7 thousand tons worth $375.7 mn, down 38.5% year-on-year.
In April, unwrought aluminum export made 212 thousand tons, down 45.6 year-on-year and down 11.3% month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export dropped by 52.5% year-on-year and decreased by 12.1% month-on-month to make $336.3 mn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export was down 25.5% year-on-year and up 54.5% month-on-month to 54.4 thousand tons worth $270.2 mn, down 41.5% year-on-year and up 43.7% month-on-month.
Unwrought nickel export in April was down 79.8% year-on-year and down 9.8% month-on-month to 3.7 thousand tons. In terms of value, it dropped by 81.1% year-on-year and declined by 9.1% month-on-month to make $44.1 mn.
