According to SeaNews Russian Foreign Trade Customs Statistics online service, in 2019 Russia imported 25 sea-going tankers worth $667 mn compared to 8 tankers worth $60.7 mn in 2018.
Five tankers worth $539.1 mn were imported from South Korea. Two of them were designated for Primorsky Kray, one for Moscow, one for St. Petersburg and one for Rostov region.
5 tankers worth $37.5 mn (+17.2% year-on-year) were imported from China compared to 3 vessels in 2018. Two tankers were delivered to St.Petersburg, one to Rostov region, one to Khabarovsk and one to Krasnodar Kray.
Two tankers were imported from Turkey to St. Petersburg, one to Primorsky Krayi and one to Murmansk Oblast. The customs value of those vessels amounted to 39.2 ,m dollars (+96%).
3 tankers worth $8 mn (up 3.2-fold) were imported from the Netherlands. Two of them were designated for Moscow and one foe Primorsky Kray.
Two tankers worth $11.5 mn (up 2.1-fold) for St. Petersburg and Chukotka were delivered from Germany.
Two tankers worth $15.3 mn were imported from Ukraine to Samara region.
Estonia and Singapore delivered one tanker each to St. Petersburg worth $10.2 mn and $6 mn respectively.
One tanker worth $308.5 thousand was imported to Leningrad Oblast from Norway.
And, one tanker worth $ 27.8 thousand (-91.7% year-on-year) was imported from Japan to Sakhalin region.
