According to SeaNews PORTSTAT analytic online service, the total cargo throughput of all the Russian sea ports during January-November 2021 amounted to 763.7 mn tons (+1.7% year-on-year). Five terminals handled 207.7 mn tons or 27.2% of this volume.
CPC-R in Novorossiysk is the leader in January-November 2021 in terms of cargo throughput. Its cargo traffic increased by 0.8% year-on-year up to 54.5 mn tons.
Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port rates the second in January-November 2021. Cargo traffic via terminal amounted to 49.1 mn tons, down 0.9% year-on-year.
Primorsk Commercial Port handled 48.2 mn tons, up 6.3% year-on-year.
Cargo throughput via Transneft Kozmino Port in Vostochny increased by 4.6% up to 31.8 mn tons.
Vostochny Port handled 24.1 mn tons. Its cargo traffic was down 5.8% year-on-year.
It should be noted that the stevedores which demonstrated the highest growth did not get into the Top-5.
International Marine Handling Terminal JSC in Vladivostok saw its cargo traffic surge 22.7-fold. It should be noted that the terminal did not handle cargo in January-September last year. Cargo throughput via VTU in Vanino was up 13.8-fold. This stevedore did not handle cargo in January-August last year. «Slavyansky Timber Terminal» Stevedoring Company in Posiet was up 10.3-fold.
The largest decrease in cargo traffic was in Anroskrym in port Kavkaz (-92.9%), Akron Yug in Rostov-on-Don (-81.4%) and Tiksi Sea Port (-76.6%).
