In January-November 2018, trade turnover between Russia and the countries of the European Union increased 10.3 % year-on-year up to 233.8 bn euro.
According to Eurostat, import from EU countries into Russia declined by 0.8% down to 79,1 bn euro. Export from Russia to the European Union was up 16.9% to 154,7 bn euro.
Among the major importers from the EU, Russia occupies the fourth position after the USA, China and Switzerland.
Among the largest exporters to the EU countries, Russia remains the third after China and the USA.
