In August 2026, Russian Railways loaded 2.2 mn tons of cement, up 6.1% year-on-year, the company said.
This figure includes 2.1 mn tons designated for consumers in Russia, up 6.1% year-on-year. Export loading of cement increased 7% to 104 thousand tons.
The largest shipments of cement originated from Krasnodar Kray (264 thousand tons), Sverdlovsk and Volgograd region (166 thousand tons) and Kemerovo region (158 thousand tons).
The highest growth rate was in Belgorod region (up 1.7-fold to 74 thousand tons), Bashkortostan Republic (up 1.5-fold to 41 thousand tons) and Voronezh region (up 1.4-fold to 115 thousand tons).
