During January-July 2026 pet food export from Siberia amounted to 2.65 thousand tons worth 494.5 mn rubles ($42.3 mn).
According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, tonnage-wise it grew 12% year-on-year.
The major importer of Siberia-produces pet food is Kazakhstan accounting for 86% of the total. Also, it is exported to Kirghizia, Belorussia and Armenia.
The bulk of the entire exports, or 91% was made in Altay Kray. Altay manufacturers increased production volume by 20% year-on-year.
5% of the Siberian pet food exports originate from the Novosibirsk region and 4% from the Omsk region.
