New Service at Global Ports’ Far East Terminal

  • Global Ports’ terminal in Wrangel Bay in the Russian Far East (Vostochny port) has served the first vessel call of the new regular container service from Ningbo, China.

The service is operated by China’s Silk Road Shipping Limited with the 330 TEU “SINO 5” container ship. The service frequency is three time a day.

Imported containers are loaded on board regular block trains operated by Delo Group’s rail operator and delivered to various destinations in Russia. The transit time by rail to Moscow region is 11 days.

Apart from Ningbo, Global Ports’ Wrangel Bay terminal also handles vessels linking it to other ports in China including Shanghai, Qingdao, Taicang and Rizhao.
