Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port has signed a Memorandum on cooperation with Mirtrans Line and China’s Guangzhou Youlian Shipping Co Ltd.
The parties agreed to collaborate on developing container transportation via Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port and to launch a regular service between Qingdao, Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port and Sakhalin.
The new service is aimed for improving logistics efficiency, optimizing cargo delivery time and developing export and potential for foreign trade participants in China, Primorye Kray and Sakhalin region.
The parties view launching the route as an important step in developing international transport and logistics connectivity and expanding shipping options between Russia and China.
The document was signed at the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok.
