Global Ports’ terminal in the Russian Far East started handling a new regular container service between Wrangel and Qingdao and Ningbo in China.
The service is operated by Eurosib with a 1,150 TEU “Hong Li Chang Jiu” container ship with a frequency of two to three times a month.
The transit time is 4 days to Ningbo and 8 days to Qingdao.
From the Wrangel terminal imports will be carried on board block trains to distribution centers in Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
