In July 2026, Russian Railways loaded 2.3 mn tons of cement, up 4% year-on-year, which is equivalent to more than 2 thousand of additional railcars, the company said.
This figure includes 2.1 mn tons designated for consumers in Russia, up 1% year-on-year. Export loading of cement surged 1.8-fold to 150 thousand tons.
The largest shipments of cement originated from Krasnodar Kray (245 thousand tons), Sverdlovsk region (186 thousand tons) and Mordovia Republic (170 thousand tons).
The highest growth rate was in Penza region (up 2-fold to 91 thousand tons), Perm Kray (up 1.5-fold to 144 thousand tons) and Krasnoyarsk Kray (up 1.4-fold to 84 thousand tons).
