During the first 6 months of 2026, the trade turnover between Russia and the countries of the European Union made 27 bn euro, down 13.2% year-on-year.
According to Eurostat, exports from EU countries to Russia during the period under report amounted to 14.8 bn euro, down 1.3%.
Imports from Russia to the European Union dropped by 24.2% to 12.2 bn euro during January-June 2026.
In June alone, the EU exported 2.57 bn euro worth of goods to Russia, up 4.9% year-on-year and up 21.8% month-on-month.
Imports from Russia to the EU amounted to 2.47 bn euro in June 2026, down 2.1% year-on-year and up 3.1% month-on-month.
