Russian Railways loaded 2.1 mn tons of grain during July 2026, up 53.3% year-on-year, the company said in its messenger channel.
158 thousand tons, or 10.5 thousand TEU, up 37% year-on-year, was transported in containers.
1.5 mn tons (up 1.8-fold) of the total amount was export designated including 992 thousand tons, up 1.8-fold, carried to ports.
The largest amount of consignments, 936 thousand tons, up 1.8-fold, was transported to the Russian South ports.
The Northwest ports received 11 thousand tons of grain, down 48%, and the ports of the Russian Far East got 45 thousand tons, up 5-fold.
512 thousand tons of grain, up 1.7-fold, was carried via land border crossings.
628 thousand tons, down 9.3% year-on-year, was carried to home market consumers.
During January-July 2026, Russian Railways loaded more than 19.2 mn tons of grain, up 53.3% year-on-year.
