Krasnoe Sormovo Shipyard has commenced the sailing trials of a new RSD59 Project dry cargo ship, United Shipbuilding Corporation said in a statement.
During the trials, the vessel’s propulsion complex, the main engine, onboard systems including automation, navigation and radio equipment, anchoring, mooring and rescue mechanisms are to be tested.
The USC does not disclose the name and the owner of the vessel, but it will be registered in St. Petersburg.
