The RF Ministry of industry and trade has amended the list of goods allowed for parallel import into Russia. Order No3042 of July 21, 2022, has been registered by the RF Ministry of Justice.
New items have been added to the list that can be imported into Russia without a consent of the right holders. These include car parts of certain brands, radio electronic goods, chemical products. Castrol, Liqui Moly, Datsun, Alienware are among the brands added to the list.
The list of cosmetic and perfumery brands forbidden for parallel export has also been amended, with a number of brands that are in short supply in shops excluded from the list. This concerns Lancôme, Redken, Yves Saint Laurent, Helena Rubinstein, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, and Kerastase.
On the other hand, some medical equipment and medicines have been excluded from the list of goods allowed for parallel import taking into account special requirements for such products.
Also, Renault has been excluded from the list as Avotovaz has took over the obligations to provide after-sale services and supply spare parts fir the brand.
The Ministry of industry and trade has also excluded from the list of goods allowed for parallel import items falling under the 50-55 EUAC customs codes (silk, wool, cotton, other plant textile fibers, cotton yarn and cotton fabric, chemical yarn and fiber) as there is a wide choice of similar products of Russian origin or made in “friendly” countries.
The Ministry of industry and trade said it will continue monitoring imports and amend the list adding or excluding certain positions if necessary.
