Russian Banks to Finance Coal Terminal in Vanino

  • VaninoTransUgol Corporation has signed an agreement with VEB.RF and VTB Bank on financing the construction a high-tech coal terminal in the port of Vanino.

    The loan facility will amount to 34 bn rubles. VEB.RF will finance more than one third of the first stage of the project in the framework of the syndicated credit.

    The planned annual capacity of the first stage of the terminal is 12 mn tons. Stage 1 is scheduled to be put into operation in 2020.

    The aggregate potential capacity of the terminal is up to 24 mn tons per annum.
