Krasnoe Sormovo Yard launched the cruise liner built at a Russian shipyard during the past 60 years, “Mustai Karim” named after a Bashir writer.
According to United Shipping Corp., the PV300 project vessel is designed for long-distance river cruises from Moscow to Astrakhan, Moscow to St. Petersburg through the Ladoga and Onega lakes and Moscow to Rostov-on the-Don along the Volga-Don shipping canal and boasts a sea-river navigation capability.

At present the vessel is 80% completed. According to Krasnoe Sormovo MD Mikhail Pershin, the main target now is to complete sea trials by the winter.
Nizhny Novgorod Governor Gleb Nikitin said the cruiser is to sail on her maiden voyage next spring, first cruises are scheduled for May 2020.
