Rosatom Subsidiary Signs Agreement with Sinokor

  • Rusatom Cargo, a subsidiary of Russia’s state corporation Rosatom, signed an agreement with Korea’s KOMERI research institute and Sinokor Merchant Marine on cooperation in developing the Northern Maritime Transit Corridor.

    The agreement provides for information and knowledge exchange to define the potential spheres of cooperation in modernizing and designing ports along the Northern Maritime Transit Corridor route, developing Asia – Europe ocean and feeder shipping, improving port facilities energy efficiency and implementing digital technologies.

    The parties believe these activities will give an impulse to expanding the trade between the two countries.
