    COSCO, являющаяся оператором порта Пирей, планирует построить в порту четвертый контейнерный терминал.

    Стоимость проекта, по информации Splash24/7, составляет 400 млн долларов. Пропускная способность планируется на уровне 2,8 млн TEU, в результате суммарные мощности Пирея превысят 10 млн TEU.

    Помимо терминального проекта, у китайцев есть и другие далеко идущие планы в Пирее – сообщается, что COSCO намерены построить на территории, принадлежащей администрации порта, четыре отеля и торговый центр.
