SUEK, Russia’s major coal mining company, has reported acquiring two terminals from EuroChem Group, one of the leading Russian mineral fertilizers manufacturer.
SUEK paid $114 mn for Tuapse Bulk Terminal and $168 mn for Murmansk Bulk Terminal in December 2020.
According to SeaNews PORTSTAT online analytic service, in 2020 Tuapse Bulk Terminal handled over 1.6 mn ton of mineral fertilizers, down 2.5% year-on-year, and Murmansk Bulk Terminal handled 5.8 mn tons of fertilizers, up 2.4% year-on-year.
