  • New Deputy Minister of Transport Appointed

  • Alexander Yurchik has been appointed deputy minister of transport of Russia. He will be responsible for aviation, which previously was the responsibility of ex-deputy minister Valery Okulov, who recently left the ministry to take up a job with the United Aircraft Corporation.

    Until this new appointment, A.Yurchik was deputy head of the Presidential Directorate for supporting the RF State Council under the RF Presidential Administration.

    In 2008-2015, A.Yurchik worked in the RF Transport Ministry holding positions of counsel to the Minister and later assistant to the Minister.
