Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company, part of Global Ports, is launching a new rail service from Nakhodka Vosotchnay rail station in Vostochny Port to Ramenskoe rail station in Moscow.
The first train is to start from the terminal in early February. The service will be regular, trains will leave weekly. The average transit time will be 10 days.
The new service is aimed for both containers imported from SE Asia via VSC and those originating in the Russian Far East, SOC and COC. Ramenskoe handles customs cleared container of all types, including IMO class.
In a longer term, option for back load from Moscow are being studied.
VSC currently loads container trains from Vostochny to Kupavna and Khovrino in Moscow region, Vorsino in Kaluga, Kleschikha in Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg.
